Mission Statement
It is the intention of Blair Academy to promote environmental awareness, global thinking and local action. Since we live on a planet with finite resources, we must embrace the responsibility of acting as stewards of our environment. With philosophical and financial support from the Headmaster and Board of Trustees, the three central goals of our plan are to educate and raise consciousness inside our school community; to craft solutions to on-going environmental concerns to reduce Blair’s ecological footprint; and to promote long-term commitment to sustainable living.
Academics at Blair
At Blair, we build meaningful relationships between teachers and students, which we believe serve as the foundation for exceptional learning. Our faculty members engage kids in classes, on the athletic fields and in the dorms, developing their critical thinking, public speaking and writing abilities. Blair students are con dent communicators who can clearly and succinctly express their ideas. Our project- and inquiry-based curriculum encourages students to excel by mastering problem-solving, communication and other key leadership competencies that are sought by colleges and employers.
