For nearly 125 years, The MacDuffie School has been a boarding and day school with a mission to foster in all students the intellectual habits of mind, high ethical standards, and respect for diversity necessary to become effective individuals in their personal and work lives, in their community, as well as in the world beyond.

MacDuffie is a community where we embrace and celebrate differences, where students from all over the world share their cultures with the local day student population, and where all are able to explore their known and yet to be discovered talents in a safe and supportive environment.

MacDuffie classrooms are dynamic learning environments where students and teachers are constantly on a quest for information, challenging one another and exchanging ideas. Committed to building intellectual skills, instilling strong values and inspiring a love of learning, MacDuffie faculty lead small classes that emphasize active participation and provide an ideal environment for discovery and individual growth.
